Snow

The weatherman said to keep an eye out for snow this afternoon. Yeah, yeah, I know it's March, but SNOW! Here's a little diddy I wrote on the subject:

I love the sound of falling snow,
the whispering...
a constant sound,
hearing each individual snowflake land
saying HEY! Did you miss me?
I'm back from my long long journey,
here to make your morning beautiful.
Not quite a spring rain
not quite a summer wind
close your eyes
breathe in deep
It's saying Merry Christmas melissa
I'm falling just for you
(it's snowing!)
