...

Our office is required to have a skeleton crew this afternoon. There is an old skeleton in the basement here from a play a few years back. Think anyone would notice if I put it in my chair and left? {sigh}

The Best EVER

Okay, if you haven't seen the movie "Garden State," SEE IT! Every time I watch it, I see or hear something new. It is just such a great uplifting movie, so unique. To bump The Princess Bride out of my Favorite Number One movie slot...it must be good!

In other news, CHRISTMAS IS IN TWELVE DAYS! I can't wait! I've heard there is a chance of flurries this weekend - woo hoo! I am so excited to be spending Christmas with my family - three whole days! And the countdown begins...

Moving Right Along

It seems Thanksgiving passed in the blink of an eye! And now we're moving on to my favorite time of year (weather not included, as it's supposed to be 76 degrees tomorrow!) Maybe because it's freezing in the mornings, maybe the Christmas lights my husband put up on our new (old) house, or maybe just because I'm wearing a red turtleneck and jingly earrings, but I'm in the Christmas mood!
Christmas is a time for family and friends, for cozy mugs of cocoa, warm fuzzy pajamas and twinkle lights. I've got Christmas music playing in the background, a Christmas party to go to tonight (my first in my new town!) - what a great time of year!
We get to spend Christmas with my family this year (a hard thing to decide when you're married.) I'm looking forward to the familiar, the smells, the foods, the laughter, the atmosphere of cozy and loving.
Boy, what a great time of year...
